Support Group #8: CXOs Support Group
Leadership in the time of Corona

Our support group will examine how, if our new socially-distant-world is used wisely, being, quite literally forced, to slow down can be used to achieve and position your company not only to survive but also to succeed.

We will focus on relationship dynamics, starting with a dialogue on our ability to understand behavior in terms of underlying intentions and mental states – wishes, beliefs, values, goals, desires, feelings and thoughts.

There are two ways to view the world during a time of crisis: to let the fear paralyze you into a downward spiral of negative thoughts or to shift the time and energy that it takes to keep your thoughts in a state of fear by embracing this forced moment to “take a beat” and to re-evaluate your company from soup to nuts.

When leaders work and make company decisions from the brain’s prefrontal cortex, where critical thinking and rational thoughts are evoked, rather than the brain’s amygdala, where fear is found as well as our fight or flight response, issues can be resolved at the root and business strategies can be put in place with the company’s long-term success in mind.

We will address the root cause of business issues that executives face by providing a safe and confidential space to finesse communication styles, work through feelings of isolation, identify triggers, build self-esteem, resolve self-worth blocks, re-work an internal company vision, conduct inner-child work, strategize around conflict resolution, and apply psychotherapeutic modalities (such as CBT and DBT) to manage anxiety and environmental stressors. These essential conversations and clinical tools provide leaders with the opportunity to tap into and develop their relationship intelligence, tackle hurdles with clarity of mind, anticipate and prepare for unforeseen circumstances, and continuously view each day as an opportunity for growth.

We have been in your shoes and we have the clinical expertise to support your leadership skills to move through these critical moments in a way that preserves your mental health and empowers you to perform with the clarity of mind to hire, produce, and execute with optimal results.
