Marra G. Ackerman, MD is currently the Director of Ambulatory Consultation-Liaison (CL) Psychiatry Service at NYU Langone Manhattan and has been a member of the NYU faculty since 2015. In her current role she oversees clinical efforts in Women’s Mental Health, psycho-oncology, and transplant psychiatry. Dr. Ackerman is Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and CL Psychiatry. She has published several academic papers on her work in Women’s Mental Health including research on the mental health impact of familial breast cancer and tele-mental health services in perinatal populations.

Full Credit Requirements: Learners must view the self-directed video/audio recording while following along with the visual slides/watch the videos, and pass the post-test with a score of 80% or higher. Learners may retake the quiz a maximum of 2 times to achieve a passing score. A brief program evaluation form will also be given. To receive credit learners must participate in the entire activity as partial credit is not available. All learners who successfully complete the course requirements will be provided a certificate of completion from the Resilience Lab Continuing Education Program. Please note that certificates will be emailed to successful candidates typically within two weeks after completion of course materials.
Resilience Lab Continuing Education Program designates this activity for a maximum of 1.00 psychological contact hours. While continuing education credits stemming from APA sponsorship are generally recognized by most state licensing boards, it is the responsibility of the learner to contact their state licensing/certification board to determine course eligibility for their licensing/certification requirement.
