As an inclusive therapist, I consider my practice to be a nurturing space where you can feel empowered to explore your feelings, attitudes, stressors and influences that agitate your life. My clinical approach is varied, I may use a combination of modalities based on your needs such as; DBT, CBT, goal setting, and mindfulness practices. I identify as a first-generation Mexican American and I am passionate about self discovery, identity, exploring intergenerational patterns, and deconstructing mental health stigma. Prior to joining Resilience Lab, I worked at an outpatient mental health clinic in the Bronx and worked at a New York City Charter School as an AmeriCorps educator. I have experience working with individuals cope through anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, life changes, family conflicts, adjustment to remote learning/ work, and interpersonal stress. I invite you to have a voice in your journey as we work collaboratively to explore, unpack , and learn new ways to gain insight.
