In a time where things can feel out of control, I can provide you with a sense of stability and hope. Don’t let the brokenness of the world discourage you from seeking a curiosity to become the best version of yourself. I am here to support you in your journey to unpack and discover the ways in which you can thrive and come home to yourself. Let’s take this breath-by-breath, step-by-step, you are already here, you are already on your way.
I am a New York state-licensed social worker and trained family and couples therapist from the Ackerman Institute for the Family. I received my Master’s in Social Work from Columbia University where my studies were focused on trauma, racial justice, mindfulness, adolescent development, family, and couples therapy. Prior to this, I received my Master’s in Childhood Education at Ithaca College where I focused on child development, the inclusion of marginalized children in public school classrooms, and the celebration of student identities.
As a psychotherapist, I meet you where you are and support you to meet your goals. I have extensive experience working with diverse populations and I am committed to an anti-racist and anti-oppressive approach. I am a strength-based, sex-positive, progressive clinician; it is my intention to support you to see the best version of yourself. I specialize in trauma, chronic PTSD, multi-racial identity affirmation, mood disorders, child and adolescent development, depression, life transitions, self-esteem, anxiety, and mindfulness.
