I seek to offer a safe and non-judgmental therapeutic space, which inspires all to be comfortable and confident in their uninhibited self expression. To speak freely, reflect upon thoughts, emotions and troubles openly and to engage in a profound process of healing that is both restorative and informative. Whether addressing historical trauma, working through current challenges or exploring new possibilities, I look forward to providing support and encouragement as you work towards your goals.
Person centered care is the foundation of my clinical philosophy. Therefore the establishment of a therapeutic bond based on trust, respect and mutual understanding is essential. During treatment we will collectively identify and analyze issue areas, then design a unique and personal plan of care that involves evidence based psychoanalytic methods to encourage holistic healing and lasting results.
I am available to work with individuals, couples, groups and families on a wide range of issues including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, stress and anger management, substance use and adjustment difficulties. I specialize in the utilization of psychodynamic theory which features modalities that include: CBT, Solution-focused therapy, Interpersonal therapy, Mindfulness practices, Narrative therapy and Holistic therapy.
In 2018, I graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a B.A in Social Work and Departmental Honors. In 2019, as a 291 Foundation Scholar I received an MSW from New York University, with a focus on clinical treatment and psychoanalytic theory.
