My approach as a therapist is an integrative approach, meaning I don’t subscribe to one school of thought, but blend elements from different therapeutic approaches according to each of my client’s needs. A few areas I draw from are psychodynamic psychotherapy, psychoanalysis, cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and mindfulness. Some common things I tend to work on with clients are unconscious patterns, repetitive relationship themes, the internal critic, changing narratives, counteracting negative thoughts, building better behaviors, and learning to relate to thoughts differently.
