My personal view is that therapy is a tool. It is a positive, collaborative process that allows for the development of one’s fullest potential. Everyone experiences difficulties in life and feels “stuck” or overwhelmed at times. My goal as a therapist is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space that provides an opportunity to understand distressing experiences and seemingly unmanageable feelings while developing new coping skills and greater self-awareness. We will explore and process the patterns and emotions that are inhibiting desired outcomes in life, be it in relationships, careers, or mood. I will utilize an eclectic style incorporating a variety of evidence-based techniques with a focus on individual strengths.
